Our headphone range is all AKG. There are closed-back models for tracking and monitoring, the semi-open K240 that studios have used for decades, and open-back reference headphones such as the K702 and K712 PRO for mixing. The K872 sits at the top as a closed-back master reference.

Closed-back headphones keep sound in and out, so they suit recording, broadcast and live monitoring. Open-back designs sound more natural over long sessions but leak, so they are best in a quiet room. Pair them with studio monitors for a second reference, or ask our Auckland team which model suits your work.
