DESCRIPTION
The AKG K92 is a closed-back, over-ear monitoring headphone built for tracking, editing and general studio reference work. The sealed earcups limit bleed into microphones and keep external noise out, making them a practical choice for musicians recording overdubs, engineers checking takes and broadcast operators working in shared spaces.
Forty-millimetre drivers cover 16 Hz to 22 kHz, giving enough low-frequency extension to judge kick and bass content without exaggerating it. At 32 ohms rated impedance and 113 dB SPL/V sensitivity, the K92 reaches useful levels from headphone outputs on interfaces, mixers, keyboards and portable recorders, and will handle up to 200 mW of input power. The self-adjusting headband reduces setup fuss when headphones are shared between users, and the ear pads are replaceable, which matters in studios and facilities where sets see daily use. At 200 g with a matte black finish, they stay comfortable across long sessions.
