DESCRIPTION
The AKG K52 is a closed-back, over-ear headphone built for tracking, monitoring and general studio and broadcast listening. Its 40 mm drivers and sealed earcups give a full-range, isolated picture of the source, making it a practical choice for musicians overdubbing to a click, engineers checking takes and broadcast operators who need to hear programme material without bleed into an open microphone.
A rated impedance of 32 ohms and sensitivity of 110 dB SPL/V mean the K52 reaches usable levels from headphone outputs on interfaces, mixers, keyboards and portable recorders, without requiring a dedicated high-current amplifier. The 2.5 m fixed cable terminates in a 3.5 mm jack with a snap-on 6.3 mm adaptor, so the same pair moves between a laptop or field recorder and a console or headphone distribution amplifier. The self-adjusting headband holds position across different head sizes for shared studio and rehearsal use, and the ear pads are replaceable when they wear.
- Closed-back over-ear design with 40 mm transducers
- Frequency range 18 Hz - 20 kHz
