The Crown XLS2002 is a two-channel Class D power amplifier delivering 650W per channel into 4 ohms, aimed at installers, engineers and musicians who need substantial output from a lightweight, rack-friendly chassis. Weighing under 5kg, it suits fixed installations where rack weight matters as much as portable rigs that are loaded in and out regularly.

Built around Crown's DriveCore technology, the XLS2002 integrates the amplifier drive stage into the output device for high efficiency and low thermal load, supported by forced-air cooling. Onboard DSP handles crossover and limiting duties, so an outboard processor is not always required for straightforward systems. XLR, 1/4-inch and RCA inputs cover balanced and unbalanced sources, while a remote power trigger allows the amplifier to follow a system controller or sequencer.
