The Crown XLS1502 is a two-channel Class D power amplifier delivering 525W per channel into 4 ohms, aimed at integrators, production crews and musicians who need dependable output from a lightweight, rack-friendly chassis. Onboard DSP and flexible input options make it equally suited to fixed installation and portable use.

Crown's DriveCore technology integrates the amplifier drive stage into the output device, cutting weight to under 5kg while maintaining thermal stability under sustained load. A backlit LCD gives access to crossover, limiting and system settings, and forced-air cooling prevents excessive thermal buildup in tightly packed racks. Balanced XLR, 1/4-inch and unbalanced RCA inputs cover everything from console feeds to consumer sources, and a remote power trigger allows the amplifier to follow a system control sequence.

  • Selectable input sensitivity of 1.4Vrms or 0.775Vrms so the amplifier reaches full power from any source
  • PureBand Crossover System with a band pass filter available per channel
  • PeakX Limiters protect connected loudspeakers while preserving maximum output
  • LED indicators can be switched off except clip and thermal for dark venues
  • Security lock disables menu buttons via combination entry, with system reset to factory settings
