The AKG WMS470-HEADSET is a professional multichannel wireless system supplied with a C544 L fitness headset microphone and a PT470 body-pack transmitter, giving presenters, instructors and vocalists a secure, hands-free capsule position with consistent gain before feedback. It is aimed at integrators and facility managers specifying reliable radio mic channels for fixed installation or regular hire use.

Audio is received by a half-rack, all-metal true diversity receiver designed to be racked in pairs, with automatic frequency setup and infrared transfer of frequency and setup data to the transmitter, so channel coordination takes seconds rather than manual matching. Pilot tone transmission mutes the receiver when no valid carrier is present, preventing unexpected start-up noise and RF interference bursts. The transmitter uses a compact, rugged housing, and the C544 L headset is built for high-movement applications such as fitness instruction and stage presentation.
