The AKG WMS470 Vocal Set C5 is a professional diversity wireless system pairing a half-rack receiver with an HT470 handheld transmitter fitted with the C5 condenser capsule, delivering clear, detailed vocal reproduction for presenters, vocalists and worship teams working in permanently installed or regularly deployed systems.

The receiver is built into a half 19-inch all-metal case for rack mounting alongside other channels, and automatic frequency setup finds a clear channel before transferring all frequency and setup data to the transmitter over an infrared link, which removes manual matching during changeovers. Pilot tone transmission mutes the receiver output when the transmitter is switched off or out of range, preventing unexpected start-up noise and RF interference breaking through the PA. For multichannel installations, the receiver works with WMS 4500 antenna splitters, power supplies and high-quality directional and omni-directional antennas.
