The AKG WMS420 Headworn Set pairs a bodypack transmitter with the C555 L head-worn condenser microphone, giving presenters, worship leaders and performers a secure, hands-free wireless solution with consistent gain-before-feedback. It suits venues and integrators who need a straightforward UHF system that can be deployed quickly and run reliably across multiple channels.

The half-rack receiver offers up to 30 MHz of selection bandwidth, so several systems can be co-ordinated on the same site, and its detachable antennas allow remote mounting or antenna distribution in racked installations. Balanced XLR and unbalanced ¼" jack outputs connect directly to mixing consoles, DSP or powered speakers, while front-panel audio clip and RF control LEDs give immediate confidence in level and link status. The transmitter includes gain control for matching the C555 L or other AKG MicroMics, and a noiseless on/off/mute switch for use mid-programme.
