The AKG W32 is a foam windscreen for ball-head microphones with a capsule diameter of approximately 18–20 mm, reducing wind noise and plosives while protecting the capsule from dust and moisture. It suits engineers and installers maintaining fleets of small-diaphragm condensers and dynamic microphones.

The open-cell foam is shaped to slip over the grille and stay in place without adhesives or clamps, so it can be fitted or removed during changeovers and washed when required. Acoustic transparency is prioritised, with minimal effect on high-frequency response, and the profile stays compact enough for close overhead and instrument placement on crowded stands.
