The Soundcraft Ui16 is a 16-input digital mixing system in a compact stagebox format, controlled entirely from a phone, tablet or laptop over Wi-Fi or wired Ethernet. It suits musicians and bands mixing their own shows, and small venues that need a full-featured console without a front-of-house footprint.

Control runs through a standard HTML5 web browser, so there is no software to install and Android, iOS, Windows, macOS and Linux devices all work side by side on the same session. The built-in wireless access point covers most small rooms, while the Ethernet port allows connection to an external router or house network for larger or more congested sites. Recallable digital preamps, a rugged metal chassis and locking connectors make it practical to place the unit on stage and run only a short multicore or none at all.
