The AKG SH100 is a spider-type suspension mount designed specifically for the Perception P120 and P220 side-address condenser microphones. It replaces the supplied stand adapter with an elastically suspended cradle, isolating the capsule from mechanical noise reaching the microphone through the stand. It is intended for engineers recording vocals, acoustic instruments and voiceover where a low noise floor matters.

The microphone body is held in a moulded cradle tensioned by elastic suspension elements, so vibration from floors, desks and boom arms is absorbed rather than transmitted to the diaphragm. A pivoting yoke lets the microphone be angled and locked for accurate on-axis placement, and the threaded base fits standard microphone stands and booms.
