The AKG PT420 is a UHF bodypack transmitter for the WMS420 wireless series, giving guitarists, presenters and performers a compact, rugged beltpack that frees them from cable runs. It suits any operator who needs dependable single-channel wireless without the complexity or cost of a large-format frequency-agile system.

A professional three-pin mini XLR audio input accepts guitars, basses, instrument pickups, headset microphones and lavaliers, so one transmitter covers most sources on a stage or in a meeting space. Channel selection is by preset within the tuning bandwidth, keeping setup quick for installers and technicians handling multiple bodypacks. The housing is moulded to survive daily handling, with a sprung metal belt clip and recessed controls to prevent accidental changes mid-performance. Adjustable input gain matches passive pickups through to high-output condenser headsets.
