DESCRIPTION
The JBL Professional PRX908 is a self-powered two-way 8-inch loudspeaker built for engineers and installers who need high output and precise control from a compact enclosure. It works equally well as a main on a pole, a stage monitor on its side, or a front-fill in a larger rig.
A 908G 8-inch ferrite woofer and 2408H-2 1.5-inch poly-annular compression driver are loaded onto an updated JBL image control waveguide for consistent 105° x 60° coverage, with Class D amplification and low-noise gain staging keeping the noise floor down. Onboard DriveRack processing is reached from a colour LCD screen or the JBL Pro Connect app, which manages up to ten speakers and integrates with EON ONE MK2, PRX ONE and EON700 systems. The polypropylene/talcum composite cabinet is optimised for rigidity, with a dual 36 mm pole socket, six M10 suspension points and an integrated top handle.
