The JBL Professional PRX425 is a dual 15-inch two-way passive loudspeaker built for bands, DJs and production companies that need substantial low-frequency extension from a single stand-alone cabinet, without adding subwoofers to every deployment. It delivers the output and pattern control expected of a professional main system while remaining straightforward to rig and transport.

Two 15-inch low-frequency transducers are paired with a high-frequency driver on a horn giving 90° x 50° nominal coverage, so horizontal spread across an audience area is wide while vertical energy stays off ceilings and rear walls. The 4-ohm system rating suits typical touring amplifier channels, and passive operation keeps amplification and processing centralised at the rack. Construction follows JBL's live-sound practice: a heavy-duty 16-gauge steel grille with protective backing screen, and a DuraFlex™ enclosure finish that resists the scuffs and knocks of repeated load-ins.
