Its tightly focused pickup pattern rejects off-axis sound, keeping background noise and feedback low while reproducing the voice with clean, clear and natural detail. It suits integrators and facility managers specifying discreet, permanent speech capture in acoustically demanding rooms.

The capsule is small enough to preserve phase coherency to the top of the audible spectrum, so the boundary effect delivers a wide, smooth frequency response free of the phase interference and comb filtering that compromise larger-diaphragm plate microphones.
