The capsule is voiced for neutral reproduction rather than an exaggerated scoop, so kit and cabinet tone arrives at the desk close to what is heard in the room. A humbucking coil suppresses electromagnetic interference from lighting rigs, dimmers and amplifier transformers, which matters when the microphone sits within centimetres of a guitar speaker. An integrated stand adapter and supplied external bracket allow mounting on a conventional stand or on drum hardware, and the rugged body is built to survive repeated setups in flight cases and gig bags.
