The Soundcraft Notepad-12FX is a compact analogue desktop mixer with a built-in 4x4 USB audio interface, combining four mono microphone channels and four stereo inputs with onboard Lexicon effects. It suits podcasters, content producers, small venues and installers who need clean preamps, straightforward routing and computer recording or playback from a single desktop unit.

Each mono channel uses a professional-grade Soundcraft microphone preamp on XLR, with EQ, aux/FX send and master fader control, plus rotary headphone level monitoring. The USB Audio Control Panel allows the four USB return inputs to be patched from the mic inputs, the line inputs or the master mix, so the same desk can handle multitrack capture, stereo streaming feeds or playback duties. The enclosure is metal throughout, with XLR and 1/4-inch connectors chosen for repeated use in mobile and rack-adjacent setups.
