The AKG MPA-V-L is an in-line phantom power adapter that connects L-type MicroMic capsules to a standard microphone input, giving installers and engineers a tidy, permanent interface between miniature AKG condensers and a console or stagebox.

The L-type mini XLR input mates with the matching connector on the microphone cable, while the male three-pin XLR output feeds any phantom-powered preamp, so no external supply or battery pack is required. An integrated bass roll-off switch lets you tame low-frequency build-up from boundary mounting, proximity effect or stage rumble at source, before the signal reaches the desk. The metal housing suits fixed installation in lecterns, ceiling boxes and podium plates.
