DESCRIPTION
The LSR310S is a 200W powered studio subwoofer from JBL Professional, designed to extend the low frequency response of a nearfield monitoring system or serve as the LFE channel in a surround setup. It suits engineers, producers and facility managers who need accurate low end reference rather than added weight.
A custom 10-inch down-firing high excursion driver is loaded into a cabinet fitted with JBL's patented Slip Stream port, which is shaped to reduce turbulence and port noise at high output. Balanced XLR and 1/4-inch inputs with balanced XLR outputs allow the subwoofer to be inserted between console or interface and monitors, or fed from an outboard crossover. A detented volume control makes level matching repeatable, and the switchable input sensitivity keeps the input stage clear of overload when driven from professional line level sources.
