The AKG LC617MD is a premium miniature omnidirectional condenser lavalier microphone from the MicroLite series, developed as the successor to the long-serving C417. Its discreet capsule and natural, uncoloured sound make it a dependable choice for presenters, performers and anyone who needs reliable speech or vocal pickup without a visible microphone.

The capsule terminates in a standard Microdot connector, so the microphone can be matched to most professional wireless bodypack systems using the appropriate adapter, allowing a single stock of microphones to serve mixed transmitter inventories. High RF rejection keeps the signal clean in dense wireless environments where multiple transmitters, lighting rigs and comms systems share the same space, and the moisture-resistant construction maintains stable performance under stage make-up, costume masking and warm, humid conditions.
