The AKG H85 is a universal spider suspension shock mount for large-diaphragm microphones with shaft diameters between 19 and 26 mm, isolating the capsule from stand-borne vibration, footfall and handling noise. It suits studio engineers, broadcast facilities and installers who need dependable decoupling from a single mount across a mixed microphone inventory.

Elastic suspension bands hold the microphone body within an outer ring frame, absorbing low-frequency mechanical energy before it reaches the capsule. The clamping arrangement accommodates a range of body diameters without adapters, and the threaded stand connector fits standard microphone stands and boom arms in permanent installations or portable rigs.
