The AKG H50 is a stereo bar that mounts two microphones on a single stand, allowing engineers to set and repeat coincident, near-coincident and spaced stereo pairs with precision. It suits studio engineers, live sound operators and installers capturing pianos, drum overheads, choirs, acoustic ensembles and room ambience.

Both microphone positions travel along the bar so the capsule spacing can be set to the technique in use, then locked off for stable, repeatable placement. The bar attaches to a standard microphone stand and accepts conventional stand-mount holders and shockmounts, keeping stage footprint and rigging time to a minimum while maintaining a rigid, low-resonance platform.
