DESCRIPTION
The AKG H30 is a universal shock mount that suspends a handheld or small-diaphragm microphone in an elastic cradle, isolating it from stand-borne vibration, footfall and mechanical noise. It suits engineers and installers who need clean low-frequency performance from stand-mounted microphones in noisy or high-traffic environments.
The elastic suspension decouples the microphone body from the stand thread, reducing structure-borne rumble that no amount of high-pass filtering fully removes. Construction is conventional AKG hardware: a rigid outer frame with replaceable elastic bands and a threaded base that mates with standard microphone stands and booms.
- Elastic suspension cradle for mechanical and structure-borne noise isolation
- Universal fit across AKG handheld and condenser bodies, including C 1000 S, C 451 B and C 5
- Compatible with the D 5, D 7, D 40 S, D 44 S and D 88 S dynamic families
- Also fits C 391 B, C 480 B comb-ULS/61, CK 69-ULS and CK 98 Blue Line capsules
- Threaded base for standard microphone stands and boom arms
Well suited to theatre, broadcast, studio, live events and permanent installation work.
