DESCRIPTION
The Bettear FORGE-XD is an Auracast stream expander for the Bettear Caster, adding a further broadcast stream to an existing installation so a single system can serve more than one language, programme feed or listening zone. It is intended for AV integrators and venue technicians who need to grow assistive listening or multi-language coverage without replacing the head-end already in place.
Auracast broadcast audio is built on Bluetooth LE Audio, so listeners join a named stream directly from compatible hearing aids, earbuds, phones or dedicated receivers, with no loop wiring, no line-of-sight requirement and no per-seat hardware handling. The expander operates as part of the Bettear ecosystem rather than as a standalone transmitter, keeping stream naming, control and audio routing consistent across the site. Housing and connectors follow the same rack-and-shelf-friendly approach as the rest of the series for tidy, permanent installation.
