The ESW-R4180DAN is a professional 8-channel 1.9 GHz DECT wireless receiver with DanteâÃÂâ network audio output, forming the centrepiece of Audio-Technica's Engineered SoundÃÂî Wireless system. Designed for fixed installation in conference, corporate and worship environments, it delivers up to 8 simultaneous wireless channels over a straightforward LAN connection using Cat 5e or better cabling.
Operating in the globally co-ordinated 1.9 GHz DECT band (1,880âÃÂÃÂ1,900 MHz in DECT Mode 00), the system avoids UHF TV-band congestion entirely and requires no frequency licensing. AES-256 encryption, a dynamic range exceeding 105 dB (A-weighted) and 24-bit/48 kHz audio ensure broadcast-quality performance, while dual network ports allow Dante audio and IP control to share a single cable or route across separate network paths.
