The AKG Drum Set Concert I is a seven-piece microphone pack assembled for engineers who need a consistent, ready-to-deploy solution for miking a full drum kit. It combines five dynamic microphones for kick, snare and toms with two condensers for overheads, making it suited to sound hire companies, front-of-house engineers and project studio owners who would otherwise assemble a kit piece by piece.

Because the microphones are selected and tuned to work in harmony, the tonal character stays coherent across the kit, which shortens gain-staging and EQ time at the console and makes recalls more predictable between venues. All clamps and stand adapters are supplied, so the drum microphones mount directly to hoops without additional hardware and the overheads drop straight onto standard stands. The set ships in a rugged aluminium carrying case built for the demands of regular transport and get-in, get-out schedules.
