The AKG DMS300-INST is a licence-free 2.4GHz digital wireless system pairing the SR300 stationary receiver with the PT300 bodypack transmitter, aimed at guitarists, bassists and other instrumentalists who need reliable cable-free operation without frequency co-ordination headaches. It is equally suited to presenters using an optional AKG headset or clip-on microphone.

Audio is transmitted at 24-bit, 48kHz resolution with AES 256-bit encryption, and adaptive frequency and channel selection works alongside antenna, time and frequency diversity to maintain a stable link in congested RF environments. Up to eight DMS300 systems can co-exist, with colour-coded channel identification and an RJ12 jack for linking receivers to simplify multi-channel setup. The high-resolution front-panel LCD covers setup, monitoring and control, and two removable front-mounted antennas plus an optional rack mount kit make the receiver straightforward to install in a rack or on a desk.
