DESCRIPTION
The AKG DMS100-INST pairs the SR100 stationary receiver with the PT100 bodypack transmitter, giving guitarists, bassists and other instrumentalists licence-free digital wireless without frequency co-ordination headaches. It suits players, presenters and installers who need dependable, encrypted radio on a modest budget.
Operating in the licence-free 2.4GHz band, the system uses adaptive frequency and channel selection along with antenna, time and frequency diversity to hold a stable link in congested RF environments. Audio is converted at 24-bit, 48kHz for full-bandwidth transmission, and AES 256-bit encryption protects the signal path. Colour-coded channel identification makes pairing transmitter and receiver straightforward, and up to four DMS100 systems can co-exist for small band or multi-presenter setups. The receiver carries both XLR and 1/4-inch TRS balanced outputs for connection to mixers, DI inputs or amplifiers, and an optional rack mount kit allows tidy integration into racks and lecterns.
