The dbx CT3 is an advanced two-way cable tester that checks continuity and pin-to-pin integrity across a wide range of audio, video and data cables, making it a practical fault-finding tool for AV integrators, installers, front-of-house engineers and production crew.

The two-piece chassis separates so cables already installed in a rack, wall or ceiling run can be tested end to end without pulling them out. Connectors are grouped in pairs so different formats can be cross-patched for adaptor and hybrid lead checks, and a built-in test tone generator with level adjustment lets you send signal through a suspect line and confirm it at the destination. Construction is super-rugged for daily use in flightcases and toolkits.
