The JBL Professional Control 1 Pro is a compact passive two-way monitor built for accurate near-field listening in tight spaces. It suits engineers and integrators who need dependable reference monitoring at a desk, in an edit suite or as part of a distributed installed system, and it is sold individually so systems can be specified in pairs or in larger arrays as required.

A professional crossover network and professional-grade drivers deliver transparent, tonally honest reproduction rather than exaggerated response. The transducers are magnetically shielded, allowing placement close to CRT displays and other sensitive equipment, while SonicGuard overload protection guards the high-frequency section against amplifier clipping and accidental overdrive. Being passive, the cabinet is driven from an external amplifier or amplified mixer, which simplifies commissioning in racked and centrally powered systems. A mounting bracket is supplied for wall or surface fixing, and the enclosure is robust enough for permanent installation as well as bench use.
