The AKG CM311A is a head-worn vocal microphone built for presenters, worship leaders and touring vocalists who need handheld-quality sound with both hands free. Its Differoid noise-cancelling design rejects stage wash and ambient noise, delivering a full, clear, distortion-free vocal even in front of loud monitors and high-SPL backline.

The cardioid capsule and Differoid geometry work together to give outstanding gain-before-feedback and isolation, so the microphone can be run harder in wedge-heavy stage setups or in reverberant rooms without ringing. Termination is on a standard XLR connector for direct connection to a mixing console input or stage box, making it straightforward to drop into an existing wired system rather than a bodypack chain. The headband and boom assembly are light enough for long services and multi-hour sessions, and rugged enough for repeated case-in, case-out touring use.
