It suits AV integrators and venue technicians specifying fixed speech reinforcement that has to stay clean under high system gain.

Part of the AKG 99ER Series of installed gooseneck kits, the CGN99H-S pairs with a compatible mount and power module to form a complete lectern channel. The hypercardioid pattern narrows the pickup arc compared with a cardioid, tightening the working area in front of the microphone and improving gain-before-feedback where foldback or nearfield loudspeakers are close to the podium. The gooseneck holds its position under repeated adjustment, and the slim profile keeps sightlines clear on camera and from the floor.
