The cardioid polar pattern rejects sound arriving from the rear and sides, improving gain before feedback in rooms with loudspeakers close to the microphone position. At 50 cm, the gooseneck places the capsule within comfortable reach of a standing presenter while keeping the mount low in sightlines. The flexible section holds its set position reliably, and the modular design allows the capsule to be paired with compatible 99ER Series mounting hardware for surface, shockmount or desk-stand installation.
