The condenser capsule is mounted in an internal shock-absorbing suspension to reduce handling noise and mechanical transmission, and a multi-stage grille and foam assembly controls plosives and breath noise without dulling articulation. A supercardioid polar pattern narrows the pickup area for high gain-before-feedback with wedges or in-ear systems, and the balanced low-impedance output feeds any standard mixer or preamp over a conventional XLR cable. The all-metal body and rugged spring-steel grille are intended for repeated load-in and load-out, and the finish resists wear from daily use.
