The AKG C577WR is a miniature omnidirectional condenser lavalier built for performers and presenters who sweat under lights or work in humid rooms. Its water-resistant construction makes it a dependable choice for theatre casts, worship teams, lecturers and broadcast talent who need discreet, consistent pickup across long sessions.

A dual-diaphragm transducer design is used specifically to suppress cable-borne and handling noise, so movement, clothing contact and cable microphonics stay out of the programme audio. The capsule is treated to resist moisture, perspiration and salts, which is the usual failure point for body-worn microphones in stage and touring service. Output is compatible with popular wireless bodypack transmitters, and the low-profile black housing disappears against dark costume, robes or corporate attire when clipped to a lapel, placket or lectern.
