The AKG C3000 is a one-inch large-diaphragm condenser built for lead vocals, guitar and bass cabinets and lead instruments, giving engineers a detailed, open top end and controlled low frequencies in both tracking rooms and on stage. It suits studio owners, live engineers and installers who need a dependable workhorse capacitor microphone that holds up under real-world handling.

The capsule uses a gold-sputtered diaphragm with AKG's patented Edge-Terminated Back-Plate Technology, paired with circuitry designed for high sound pressure levels and low distortion. An internal windscreen reduces breath blasts and wind noise without an external pop filter, and the all-metal body is designed, engineered and built in Vienna, Austria. Standard 48 V phantom power and an XLR output make integration with any console, preamp or interface straightforward.
