The Audio-Technica BP894XCH is a subminiature cardioid condenser earset microphone in black, terminated with a cH-style connector for use with Audio-Technica 3000 and 5000 Series wireless body-pack transmitters. Its low-profile design suits presenters, worship leaders, performers and anyone who needs consistent, hands-free vocal capture with minimal visual intrusion.

The cardioid capsule delivers intelligible, natural vocal reproduction with useful rejection of stage wash and nearby foldback, and handles high sound pressure levels without strain. A rotating capsule housing with a talk-side indicator lets you position the polar pattern correctly whether the earset is worn on the left or right ear, while the flexible, contoured under-ear loop stays secure over long calls and works comfortably with spectacles. The detachable cable uses a robust connector at the earset, so a damaged lead can be replaced in the field rather than retiring the microphone.
