The Audio-Technica BP892XCW-TH is a subminiature omnidirectional condenser headworn microphone in theatre/beige, terminated with a 4-pin push-locking cW connector for Audio-Technica cW-style body-pack transmitters. At 2.6 g for the microphone, boom and earpiece, it all but disappears on camera or under stage lighting, making it a practical choice for presenters, performers and worship leaders who need consistent level with full freedom of movement.

The omnidirectional element measures 9.5 mm long by 2.6 mm in diameter on a 98.5 mm boom, so it can be positioned close to the corner of the mouth without visual intrusion. Power comes directly from the body-pack, so no separate power module is required in the signal chain. The earpiece hooks behind either ear and is made from hypoallergenic materials, and the supplied AT8464x dual-ear adapter kit converts it to a two-ear fitting for more demanding choreography. The 1.4 mm reference for cable dressing is a slim 1.6 mm detachable lead, replaceable in service.

Supplied with AT8157 and AT8171 windscreens, two AT8156 element covers, a moisture guard and carrying case, it suits houses of worship, theatre, corporate AV, broadcast and education.
