The Bettear B-PASS is an access-control unit for secured Auracast audio streams, restricting a broadcast to listeners who are physically present and authorised. It suits AV integrators and facility managers delivering assistive listening or language streams in rooms where spoken content is confidential.

Installed in the room it protects, B-PASS issues the passcode required to join the stream, so listeners pair by tapping their phone or hearing device against the unit or scanning a QR code rather than being handed credentials in advance. It connects to a B-CASTER transmitter over a wired or wireless link and mounts to a wall or sits on a desk or table, with power taken from PoE or a DC input to simplify cabling in retrofit installations.
