The Bettear B-CASTER-X-DNT-WHT is a professional two-channel Auracast (Bluetooth LE Audio) transmitter that broadcasts venue audio directly to listeners' hearing aids, earbuds and receivers. It suits AV integrators and facility managers delivering assistive listening, multi-language or silent audio distribution without loop wire or infrared line of sight.

This Dante variant takes network audio straight from an existing digital infrastructure, with switchable internal or external antennas so coverage can be tuned to the room or extended with remote aerials in difficult builds. Configuration and monitoring are handled through the built-in web management panel, Hive Central software or a control-system API, and the unit is powered over the network for a single-cable install in a rack or above a ceiling.

  • Bluetooth 5.3 broadcasting on 2400-2482 MHz with LC3 codec and latency under 40 ms
  • Adjustable transmit power to 20 dBm, with open or AES128-secured broadcasts using a 4-16 character password
  • Stereo, mix or dual-mono broadcast modes; 10 Hz - 22 kHz response, 48 kHz sampling and -12 dB to +32 dB input gain
  • Onboard DSP with AGC, low-pass and high-pass filtering
  • LAN 1 gigabit PoE input and LAN 2 gigabit PoE output for cascading power, audio and control; PoE+ (802.3at) or 12 VDC 2.5 A operation
