The Bettear CASTER-XD is a professional two-channel Auracast (Bluetooth LE Audio) transmitter that broadcasts venue audio directly to listeners' own earbuds, hearing aids and receivers. With Dante network audio input and switchable antennas, it suits integrators delivering assistive listening, language distribution or silent-audio feeds in fixed installations.

Audio arrives over the Dante network at 48 kHz and is encoded with the LC3 codec over Bluetooth 5.3, with latency under 40 ms for acceptable lip-sync on live sources. Onboard DSP provides AGC plus high- and low-pass filtering, and broadcasts can be left open or locked with an AES128 password. Configuration is handled through the built-in web management panel, Hive Central software or a control-system API, and the unit runs from PoE+ or an external 12 VDC supply. At 419 g in a compact black chassis, it mounts discreetly in a rack or ceiling void with the internal or an external antenna selected to suit the coverage plan.
