DESCRIPTION
The Audinate Dante AVIO-A-4IN-EB brings four channels of balanced or unbalanced analogue audio onto a Dante network through screw-terminal Euroblock connectors, making it a practical way for integrators and installers to feed local sources such as mixers, playback devices and paging inputs into a networked system without a dedicated I/O frame.
Designed for permanent installation, the adapter is powered entirely over the network via IEEE 802.3af Class 3 PoE, drawing 2.5 W standalone and up to 12 W across a daisy-chain. Two 100 Mbps Ethernet ports with an integrated switch allow up to four adapters to share a single network drop with PoE passed downstream, which simplifies cabling in ceiling voids, lecterns and equipment cupboards. Selectable input sensitivity, a supplied mounting bracket and ClickGrid snap-together mounting support tidy, repeatable fitting, and configuration is handled in Dante Controller alongside the rest of the system.
- 4 in / 0 out; four channels at 44.1/48 kHz or two channels at 88.2/96 kHz
- Euroblock 3.5 mm pitch 6-pin terminals; 20 kOhm balanced / 10 kOhm unbalanced input impedance
- 108 dB dynamic range (AES17 A-weighted at +4 dBu) and THD+N of 0.0008% at 1 kHz, +4 dBu
- Max signal level selectable at +4 dBu, 0 dBu, 0 dBV or -10 dBV; 16/24/32-bit PCM
- Selectable Dante device latency of 1, 2 or 5 ms; 150.7 x 53.8 x 38.1 mm, 180 g
Well suited to corporate AV, houses of worship, education, hospitality and fixed installation work where local analogue sources must join a Dante network.
