The ATW-R1440 is the 4-channel digital receiver at the heart of the Audio-Technica System 20 PRO wireless platform, operating in the licence-free 2.4 GHz band with 24-bit/48 kHz digital audio quality. Its half-rack chassis houses up to two removable receiver modules, each of which can be docked in the chassis or remotely mounted up to 100 m away via standard Ethernet cable.

Self-managing frequency architecture automatically selects clean 2.4 GHz channels and avoids active Wi-Fi networks, removing the complexity of manual RF co-ordination. Each receiver channel supports pairing with up to four transmitters, enabling instant performer changeovers, and up to five chassis can be linked for 20 simultaneous channels.
