DESCRIPTION
The Audio-Technica ATW-T3201A is a UHF body-pack transmitter for the fourth-generation 3000 Series, pairing with ATW-R3210 and ATW-R3210N receivers to provide a wireless channel for lavalier, headworn and instrument sources. It suits AV integrators, houses of worship and production companies building presenter and instrument channels on a common receiver platform.
A 4-pin screw-down cH-style input connector accepts both microphone and instrument sources, with pin 2 carrying instrument input, pin 3 microphone input and pin 4 supplying +5 V DC bias for condenser elements. RF output is switchable between High and Low to help manage co-channel density in multi-system deployments, and tuning in 25 kHz steps allows precise placement of frequencies between local broadcast and other RF traffic. The switchable high-pass filter reduces handling and stage rumble at the source, before transmission. The housing is compact enough for belt-pack or guitar-strap mounting, and the screw-down connector resists accidental disconnection during performance.
- Switchable RF output: 30 mW high or 10 mW low at 50 ohms
- Frequency response 31 Hz to 15.5 kHz, dependent on the element fitted
- 125 Hz high-pass filter at 12 dB per octave
- Two 1.5 V AA batteries (not included): approximately 8 hours high or 9 hours low on alkaline
- 64 x 82 x 23 mm (W x D x H), 102 g net without batteries
Well matched to houses of worship, corporate AV, theatre, education and live events installation work.
