DESCRIPTION
The Audio-Technica ATW-1427 is a two-channel System 20 PRO digital wireless package built around an ATW-R1440 four-channel receiver and a pair of ATW-T1407 desk-stand transmitters with gooseneck bases. It suits boardrooms, council chambers, panel discussions and lectern work where a cabled table microphone is impractical and set-up time is limited.
Operation is in the licence-free 2.4 GHz band, so no RF coordination with television broadcast allocations is required. The receiver runs true diversity reception with AES128 encryption and 24-bit/48 kHz audio, and its half-rack chassis takes the supplied rack-mount adapters for permanent installation. RJ45 network and LINK ports allow receivers to be linked and monitored, while switchable MIC and LINE outputs feed either a mixer input or a DSP-based conferencing system directly.
