The Audio-Technica AT829cH is a clip-on cardioid condenser lavalier microphone terminated for UniPak body-pack transmitters, delivering crisp, full-sounding speech pickup for presenters, lecturers and stage performers who need to stay hands-free and mobile.

Its cardioid polar pattern narrows the pickup to a 120° angle of acceptance, which lifts gain before feedback in loud rooms and suppresses off-axis background noise from air conditioning, audiences and nearby foldback. A permanently attached miniature cable ends in a screw-down 4-pin connector that locks positively to Audio-Technica UniPak transmitters, so the connection survives repeated costume changes and daily handling. Construction is rugged throughout, suiting rental stock and permanently installed presentation systems where microphones are fitted by non-technical users.
