The Allen & Heath AB168 is a portable remote audio rack designed to serve as a high-performance digital stagebox for the QU series of digital mixers. Connecting via a single dSNAKE Cat5 cable over distances of up to 120 metres, the AB168 eliminates bulky multicore runs and dramatically simplifies stage-to-FOH connectivity in both live sound and installed applications.

Featuring 16 remotely controllable mic/line inputs and 8 XLR outputs, the AB168 delivers pristine 48 kHz audio with full remote preamp control directly from the QU mixer surface. Switchable phantom power is available across all input channels, accommodating condenser microphones and active DI boxes without additional hardware.
