The Audinate Dante AVIO USB Adapter is a compact bidirectional interface that places any laptop or desktop computer onto a Dante audio network without installing driver software. It gives integrators and engineers a permanent, tidy drop-point for guest machines in boardrooms, control rooms and production areas, replacing ad-hoc analogue leads and DI boxes.

The adapter presents itself to the host machine as a standard USB audio device, so PC, Mac and Linux computers connect using their native class-compliant drivers. On the network side it behaves like any other Dante endpoint, appearing in Dante Controller for routing, naming and monitoring, and drawing power over PoE from the connected switch. The moulded housing and locking-capable Ethernet port suit both mobile use and fixed installation behind furniture or within a lectern or credenza.
