DESCRIPTION
The Dante AVIO 2-channel analogue output adapter from Audinate takes two channels of audio off a Dante network and delivers them as balanced line-level analogue signals, giving integrators and engineers a compact way to connect power amplifiers, powered speakers and other analogue gear to a networked system without a full interface or breakout rack.
The adapter draws its power over Ethernet from the network switch, so a single Cat cable carries both audio and power to the device. It appears in Dante Controller like any other Dante device for naming, routing and clock configuration, and its sealed, pocket-sized metal housing is built to sit at the back of a rack, on a wall plate or at a remote drop point in a live rig.
- Two channels of balanced line-level analogue output on a male XLR connector
- Powered over Ethernet — no local power supply or adaptor required
- Feeds analogue amplifiers, powered speakers and processors from any Dante source
- Pairs with Dante AVIO input adapters to patch DSPs, compressors and equalisers into a Dante system
- Discovered, named and routed in Dante Controller alongside all other Dante endpoints
Well suited to installation, corporate AV, houses of worship, education and hospitality systems where overflow zones and legacy analogue equipment need a network feed.
