DESCRIPTION
The Audinate Dante AVIO ADP-DAO-AU-0X1 is a single-channel analogue output adapter that takes a channel from a Dante network and delivers it as a balanced line level signal. It is intended for integrators and engineers who need to feed amplifiers, powered speakers and other analogue equipment from a networked audio system without installing a full interface or breakout rack.
The adapter appears in Dante Controller as a standard device, so routing, device naming and clocking are handled exactly as they are for any other Dante endpoint. Power and audio travel over the same Cat5e or better cable, which keeps drop points tidy and removes the need for a local supply. The moulded housing and captive cable are built for permanent installation as well as portable use, and the compact form factor allows the adapter to be mounted behind a speaker, inside a lectern or at a wall plate.
- One channel of balanced line level analogue output on a male XLR connector
- Powered over Ethernet, with no external PSU or batteries required
- 24-bit audio at 48 kHz, with clocking managed by the Dante network
- Patches DSPs, compressors and equalisers into a Dante system when paired with AVIO input adapters
- Configured and routed entirely from Dante Controller, with device naming and subscriptions retained
Well suited to corporate AV, houses of worship, education, hospitality and permanent installation work where analogue endpoints must join an existing Dante infrastructure.
